World's First Museum of Crocodiles Opens in Africa

The world's first museum of crocodiles located in Egypt was inaugurated at the end of January. This project reflects the status of the God Sobek at the Pharaohs era. It gives a good idea about the place where his worship flourished in the middle ages. The establishment of the museum began in 2008 and the construction works ended in 2011 at a cost of 7 million LE. It is the first museum of its kind in the world.
